Do you know that feeling when you have a big heart and almost automatically end up stretching yourself a little too far for others? You want so badly to see the good in people, and you hope that if you just give enough warmth, care, and patience, they will wake up and see it.

But I have learned something incredibly important. You should be kind, but you should never, ever be a fool. Your worth is not negotiable. At all. Sometimes you meet people who live behind thick facades.

Once you have found your own inner #butterflystrength, you also realize that you do not owe anyone your light when all they bring into your life is darkness and indecision. You should not accept a cheap exterior when you yourself have a heart of pure gold. 

Saying stop and setting a clear boundary is not being harsh. It is pure and simple self-respect.

Respect yourself enough to turn your back on what drags you down. Pack your dignity and your greatness in your bag, stand up, and move on with your head held high. Your heart should be a safe haven for those who deserve it, not a revolving door for people who are afraid to choose.
