Prison Break was my first favorite series, until the Spartacus series came out, and it also has some prison-like conditions, especially in the first and third seasons. Even when it looks like the Romans have cornered Spartacus and his rebellion, he finds a way out. I remember that scene in season 2 where they are trapped on this hill and use some kind of wooden material to make rope so they can escape.
