Wheel of Fortune (Long version) | TV 2 (FRANK ReWork)
LONG VERSION:
I've always had a genuine fondness for the TV show "Wheel of Fortune", known from TV 2, and especially for its phenomenal theme tune, originally composed by Jesper Ranum. It's one of those pieces of music that still holds up to this day, and that I find myself listening to again and again. (Yes, my taste in music is a little different from most people's.) Over the past year or so, I've been experimenting with digital music production, and the other day I had the crazy idea of breathing new life into Jesper's old work and recreating the iconic Wheel of Fortune theme tune in a new and modern version – with a big, wide and warm sound, but with deep respect for the original. It's not a remix, nor does it use sampling. It's a loving reconstruction. A "ReWork" that preserves the classic melody 100% while bringing the soundscape into the present with fresh production techniques, fuller arrangements and a more cinematic feel.

I’ve always had a genuine fondness for the TV show "Lykkehjulet," known from TV 2, and especially for its phenomenal theme tune, originally composed by Jesper Ranum.
It’s one of those pieces of music that still holds up to this day and that I catch myself listening to again and again. (Yes, my taste in music is a little different from most people’s.)
Over the past year or so, I’ve been experimenting with digital music production, and the other day I had the crazy idea of breathing new life into Jesper’s old work and recreating the iconic theme tune from Lykkehjulet in a new and modern version—with a big, wide, warm sound, but with deep respect for the original.

Why? Because I can, I’m a bit of a nerd, and I didn’t have anything better to do. And if I don’t do it, no one else will.
👍 Like if you enjoyed my interpretation of the theme.
